Joe combines a facility with language and a penchant for philosophy to impart technical knowledge and his own experiences to learners of all abilities and areas of interest. He favors knowing “why” above all else.
His goal is to guide learners in the disciplines of critical thinking, problem solving, and autonomy - not to reinforce ‘truths’ passed down from authority and rote memorization of ‘facts’.

Joe approaches communication from a base of collegiality. For what value is any information if it’s not provided or received in an accessible way? The foundation of any meaningful relationship is trust, which is best earned in an convivial way. Through mutual trust, Joe finds a way to communicate, to teach, because he loves watching people fully bloom.
Joe favors individual and team accountability over any metric. He doesn’t deliver metrics or achieve goals; he delivers a team that delivers metrics and meets goals. The entire team becomes more effective, more productive, more aligned, more idiomatic, more fun, because Joe is on the team.
